capacity. In 1980 she attended the International Convention as the
first woman delegate and at that time the only woman at that convention. Prior to working for the IUOE she had coordinated a Congressional

Local she has represented at some time many of the bargaining units East of US

areas of work that we represent. Health Care (Foote and Borgess Hospital, Bortz
Of Ypsi, ECMFC, JCMCF), Schools, Cities and County Govrnment, and Manufacturing (GHS)

since MEBS began. Has been a
member of the Workforce Board for Jackson, Hillsdale, and Lenewee County for 20
years, a member of the Jackson Economic Development Group and is currently
serving as president of the Jackson Hillsdale County Central Labor Council.
As a business representative
Jennifer’s philosophy has been to try and work real hard to have a good
relationship with the employers for the good of our members, but if becomes
necessary to have a fight she will take it on.
Jennifer’s husband Ed was her strongest supporter until his death this summer. She is the proud mother of one daughter and grandmother of two wonderful grandchildren.
